Girlie Boy??!!

Taylor, my son, has often complained that I used to dress him WAY too girlie when he was a wee lad.
"I looked totally gay, Mom!"
The boy is prone to making mountains out of molehills.
Just last night, he had me look through our family photo albums, so I'd see for myself just how girlie his outfits were.
I yanked the albums off the shelf to prove to him that I did NOT dress him like a girl.
What did I find?
There was this Halloween costume, BUT HE'S the one who DEMANDED face makeup because his sister got to wear it.
It was never my intention that he go trick or treating looking like a transvestite sunflower.

Grrrrumbling under my breath, we continued our trek through the years. He honed in on this ice skating shirt that he was wearing on a camping trip.
What's wrong with a little Nancy Kerrigan now and then?
A boy needs some culture in his upbringing, right?

Furiously flipping album pages, I defended against his attacks about the numerous brother-sister outfits that he said were "fine for girls, but totally gay for boys."
Most of those were holiday outfits, and he LOVED those clip-on bow ties at the time!!

I most certainly did NOT dress him -

uh...

He makes mountains out of molehills I tell you,
Mountains Out Of Molehills!!!!!!!!!

I'd keep an eye on that person. (He/she certainly is a handsome lad/gay lad.)

Just kidding. He's a handsome boy, and he is not going to be gay (unless he wants to, I guess).

lol-

My son, Chris, used to do an old lady comedy routine when he was a little guy....He'd pretend to be an old lady being helped across the street by a boy scout! He'd do both parts! :) had us cracking up!

OHHH! Yah- and he liked to imitate Tiny Tim, singing Tip toe through the tulips!

Yes, I suppose he sees the old photos and wonders what in the world you were thinking. Actually he is a very masculine little boy and could never pass for a girl.
Awww, but just look at those shapley little legs!

At this point, your boy knows what mountains he's going to make molehills out of.

Can you come over to my house & help me with my teenagers? ;-)

I'm dying here. I can't breath because I'm laughing so hard. When my sister was in college and I was still a "wee-lad" she would dress me up for her shoots. My father hated when she did that to me.

Don't let these pics get out if your son ever wants to run for office... oops, too late :)

There are many ways to try and make a boy tough. Why not just name him Sue?
